Pricing & Options - Customer Site Preparation

Following the guidelines below will help insure that the shed is installed properly and quickly, so let's work together on anything you might have a question on.

SITE WORK
I need 3' clearance (to fit ladder) around shed to work. Site must be level and flat to within one foot of level on longest side. Tree branches need to be trimmed to a clear height of 12'. If a tree was cut down and shed is going over the stump, or rocks, they need to be flush to ground or removed. Brush must be cut flush to ground to keep cords and hoses from tangling. Crushed stone, plus 2' around perimeter of shed will make for a good base, but is not required. I do not provide site prep services, a local landscaper could help you with this. Please don't hesitate to call me if site is not ready one week prior to installation. Delivery and installation may be postponed if site is not ready for proper installation.

PERMITS
The customer has the responsibility to obtain the necessary building permits and property line setback requirements (if any) prior to
installation.

SHED LOCATION ON YOUR PROPERTY-STAKE IT OUT
Four small stakes or cement blocks measured out to the shed size you are considering will show me exactly where shed will be placed and also give you an idea as to the scale of it. Once it is staked out, look around and UP to see if there is anything like shrubs, branches, clotheslines that need to be trimmed/removed before shed can be built. It is your responsiblity to select the exact location of the shed before I begin. If the shed is to be square, like an 8' x 8' or 10' x 10', I'll need to know which way you want the door and roof line to face before I begin.

SITE ACCESS
Somehow the materials have to get from my truck to the shed site. Since I can only throw a bundle of shingles so far, I need to have access to carry materials to the site within 100 feet. If it's longer than that, I may charge extra for the extra labor involved. Let me know so I can allow for that in the quote.

REMOVAL OF EXISTING SHEDS
Please consult your local weekly newspaper for Demolition / Removal services. I do not provide this service.
